Stick Out Your Can, Here Comes the (Bradenton) Garbage Man
Hey, ladies, stick out your can. Here comes the garbage man! In Bradenton, Florida, he’s one of the lowest-paid and hardest-working city employees, and hardly anybody pays any attention to him or gives him props for doing good work. So this video is my personal tribute to Bradenton’s Solid Waste Department — a great bunch of folks who deserve lots more recognition than they get.

Very cool. The background music definitely had an old New Orleans jazz feel to it. Thanks for giving recognition to people who make every day life just a little better.

There is something spooky, almost well nigh sinister going on here. The garbage man is using a robot to pick up the “can” and the truck arms seem so amoral. I am worried about how the garbage truck has no concern about the contents or feelings of what each trash can may contain.

THAT IS SO COOL, YOU ARE RIGHT. THEY GET NO RECOGNITION AND LOW PAY ALSO. I ALWAYS GIVE EACH OF THE MEN ON MY ROUTE MONEY IN A CARD AT CHRISTMAS AND AT EASTER TIME. AND MAKE SURE I TELL THEM THANK YOU. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.
