Hillary finally showed her human side — and it helped her a lot
I’d say H-Rod’s NH win had two causes: 1) The O-Man’s poor performance in the last debate, and 2) H-Rod finally showing emotion.
Hillary has campaigned with her game face on. Fine. She showed that she can be tough enough to play big-league poker or stare down a nasty dictator. But we Americans also like to think our leaders are passionate about our country and about us. Hillary finally displayed passion. Tears worked, but so does anger, a la John McCain, as long as it is in short bursts and is tempered, a la McCain, with wit and humor.
Obama obviously has passion and is a fine orator. But in unscripted circumstances, such as debates, I think he’s gotten so scared of making mistakes that he has trouble deciding what to say. He hasn’t become as plastic as Willard “Mitt” Romney, but he’s certainly moved in that direction as his campaign progressed.
In a world where most celebs and corporate bigwigs and politicians are packaged commodities who have numerous PR consultants nearby to make sure they stay “on message,” it is only in brief, candid moments that we see who they really are (except for McCain, who is who he is and seems comfortable to be himself).
I think all of us expect presidents to be human beings. We really don’t mind if they show a little emotion while they’re running for office. Indeed, it is when they show emotion that we feel closest to them.
I personally liked the teared-up, tired-looking Hillary a lot more than the carefully-prepped H-Rod robot we see at most of her appearances — and I’m a lot more likely to vote for an actual, human Hillary than for the packaged, cardboard-cutout version of her we usually see.

HIllary showed her human side. Are you kidding, She changes colors and attitude like a chameleon to get the crowd she is working to like her.

I finally saw the whole clip of Hillary crying, and I thought it made her look about as Machivellian as is possible to look.
Not because she is crying about something. I couldn’t care less. But WHAT she is crying about is absolutely AMAZING. She is basically crying because Republicans are evil. You see, Republicans are pushing us backward, and we’re spinning out of control because of them, and she SEES how evil Republicans are and we have reverse it … that’s one of the most retarded things I’ve ever seen in my life.
After her Christmas commercial, of course.

If she cries she’s a big baby, when she doesn’t, she’s a cold, heartless robot. She can’t catch a break, but she’s not doing herself any favors. Although, I have a feeling she’ll be crying all the way to the bank, as they say.
