It’s in a humble little building behind La Fe Tortilleria at the corner of 9th St. West and 22nd Avenue West, totally easy to overlook. It’s a next-to-no-budget operation run by coach (and former championship boxer Aaron Avalos that works with aspiring boxers as young as five years old, has at least two amateur boxing champions among its current members, and has a mission beyond creating winners in the ring, namely keeping kids and young adults out of gangs.
