I’m Tired of Rabid Obama-Haters
I don’t love Barack Obama, but I think he’s a decent guy and a patriotic American who would like to make this country a better place, especially for those of us who work for a living. I think pretty much the same about John McCain, too — except I think he has forgotten (or maybe never knew) what it was like to struggle to pay bills. But what bothers me most about McCain, even though it may not be his fault, is that a lot of his supporters seem to think spreading lies and hate speech about Obama is right. It’s not.
This has turned into a nasty campaign. McCain and Obama both seem to spend more time pointing out their opponents’ defects than talking about their own good points. I think most reasonable Americans are tired of this. I know *I* am.
But the most vile filth seems to come out of the mouths of people who prefer McCain over Obama — or possibly prefer *any* Republican over any Democrat. Or possibly prefer any white person over anyone who is not white, regardless of qualifications and ability.
In any case, I do not want a president who is beholden to liars and hatemongers or who welcomes their support. I guess that means I will have to vote for Obama or a third-party candidate, even though I used to like McCain quite a bit before he decided to pander to the worst elements of the Republican Party instead of keeping them at a distance.

In 2000 — I would have voted McCain over Gore in the general. I was tired of the Clinton years and the constant BS but I had no love for Dubya and he was never going to get my vote.
Some people constantly are looking for (and / or creating) excuses not to vote for Obama, or trying to sully him… And yet, all of this stuff seems like a sad joke when I look at the character they are standing up for and his constant gaffes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I’m not helping things here… But what I find funny is a local blogger posted that Obama had made is 8000th+ gaffe when (to his credit) Barack has run one of the tightest campaigns. Oh, he’s made mistakes, but 8000?
Does that somehow trump someone forgetting stances on issues? On someone forgetting how many houses they own? On forgetting the experiences that are supposed to make them more qualified for the job?
Voting 3rd party is not a crime, and having a legit reason to be wary of Obama is fine… But when it comes back to hyper-partisanship, bigotry and fearmongering — well, that’s just unacceptable. And sadly it will go on.

It will be a sad, sad, sad day for America if John McCain is elected president. Fear not, though. Mother Nature will take back humans into her bowels just like she took back the dinosaurs. We are organic matter and when we’ve destroyed the sustainability of our natural habitat, we will return to organic matter. If you hadn’t noticed, other nations are catching up to us and, because we have made ourselves weak, they will surpass us. There will be civil strife in this country when our citizens can no longer afford to eat because we are sending all our efforts and money to war and companies that profit from war.

I am just sick and tired of the Obama coverage….and the political coverage of both parties in general! Not crazy over either candidate. Too much negative vibes and the real issues are not being addressed …much less being resolved!

They aren’t hating, but just trying to make all you obama supporters see the light. This doesn’t mean that mccain should get the job either. But we are not at all in the position to make that big of a mistake in electing someone with virtually NO EXPERIENCE. WHY on earth are we stooping to these levels? There seems to be an awful lot of truth in the saying; Desperate people do desperate things.
Have you ever gotten a job with NO EXPERIENCE? And if so, what kind of lies did you tell to get it?
